The non-profit Kneipp Association Bad Nauheim-Friedberg-Bad Salzhausen e.V. was founded in 1970 and aims to support people in leading a healthy life in harmony with nature, thereby actively preventing illness and finding healing. Sebastian Kneipp (1821-1897) successfully based his comprehensive healing methods on this holistic approach 150 years ago. The association currently has more than 1,000 members.
Kneipp Worldwide is the international umbrella organization of the Kneipp movement. Founded in 1962, it today comprises the national Kneipp associations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovenia, and South Korea; the regional Kneipp organizations in Lithuania, Luxembourg, Romania, and Bulgaria; and associate members in South Tyrol, Georgia, the Czech Republic, and North America. Kneipp Worldwide is officially headquartered in the Kneipp town of Bad Wörishofen, Germany, and has an office in Berlin.
